These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of this website (“the Site”) and all attendees of events organised by us (“the Events”). By using the Site or attending Events, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not apply or attend. It’s very simple.

1. Who We Are

The Events are organised and hosted by the same individual who operates this Site (“we”, “us”, “our”).
We are based in London, United Kingdom.
We run small-group dating events for adults aged 35–49.

2. Eligibility

​

To apply or attend, you must:

• be aged 35–49 (or within the range specified for a particular event)

• be single, divorced, or genuinely separated (living separately)

• be residing in the UK

• be applying on your own behalf

• be willing to behave like an adult in public

We reserve the right to decline applications without detailed explanation.

3. Accurate Information

​

You agree that all information you provide to us is:

• true

• current

• not misleading

• presented without theatrical omissions

This includes age, relationship status, photos, and any other details requested in the application.

If we discover that you have provided inaccurate or misleading information, you may be denied entry or future participation, without refund.

4. Event Conduct

​

Attendees must:

• turn up on time

• behave courteously

• avoid disruptive or inappropriate behaviour

• respect other attendees’ boundaries

• refrain from interrogations, oversharing, or dramatic exits

• maintain the privacy of other attendees

We may remove anyone whose behaviour is inappropriate.
We decide what “inappropriate” means — because we have seen things.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

​

You must not:

• photograph or record other attendees

• share their personal information

• attempt investigative research during or after the Event

• use Event attendance as a networking opportunity for anything other than dating

We will not publish identifying information about members or attendees.

6. Screening & Acceptance

​

We assess all applications to determine suitability.
We do not guarantee acceptance.
Criteria include (but are not limited to):

• effort

• presentation

• communication quality

• intentions

• behaviour

• general energy

We are not obliged to explain rejections, though we may do so politely.

7. Event Fees & Payment

​

Event fees must be paid in advance. A place is secured only once payment is confirmed.
We do not offer refunds for:

• change of mind

• sudden unavailability

• transport issues

• bad weather

• personal scheduling problems

• meeting someone you don’t like

If we cancel an Event, you will receive a full refund or transfer to a future Event.

8. Cancellation & No-Shows

​

If you cannot attend, please notify us with reasonable notice.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future participation.
We keep track — quietly, but efficiently.

9. Limitations of Liability

​

We are not responsible for:

• the actions or behaviour of other attendees

• any personal or emotional disappointment

• the success or failure of any connection

• loss of property

• any claims arising from interactions before, during, or after Events

We provide a setting and reasonable screening.
We do not guarantee romantic outcomes.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be limited under UK law.

10. Safety

​

Do not share excessive personal information with other attendees until you feel comfortable.
After the Event, any communication between attendees is entirely at your own risk.

11. Use of the Site

​

You may not:

• use this Site for commercial purposes

• scrape or copy content

• impersonate another person

• attempt to undermine the application process

If you behave poorly online or offline, we may remove you from the member list.

12. Intellectual Property

​

All content on the Site, including text, images, branding, tone of voice (yes, even the dryness), is owned by us.
Do not reuse, copy, or repackage without permission.

13. Changes to Terms

​

We may update these Terms occasionally to keep them relevant and functioning.
The updated version will always be posted here.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, ideally without drama.
