Last updated: 23/11/2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of this website (“the Site”) and all attendees of events organised by Mean It Club (“the Events”). By using the Site or attending an Event, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not apply or attend.
1. Who We Are
Mean It Club events are organised and hosted by the individual who operates this Site (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Be genuinely single (divorced or truly separated is acceptable)
-
Be residing in the United Kingdom
-
Apply and attend on your own behalf
-
Be willing to behave respectfully and appropriately in a social setting
We reserve the right to decline applications or attendance at our discretion.
3. Accurate Information
You agree that all information you provide is accurate, current, and not misleading.
This includes (but is not limited to) your age, relationship status, photographs, and any information submitted through the application form.
If inaccurate or misleading information is identified, we reserve the right to deny entry or future participation without refund.
4. Event Conduct
Attendees are expected to:
-
Arrive on time
-
Behave courteously and respectfully
-
Respect personal boundaries
-
Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour
-

We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour compromises the experience or safety of others.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
To protect the integrity of the Events, attendees must not:
-
Photograph, record, or film other attendees
-
Share personal information about other attendees
-
Conduct online research or investigation into other attendees
-
Use Events for networking, promotion, or non-dating purposes
We do not publish identifying information about members or attendees.
6. Application Review & Acceptance
All applications are reviewed to assess suitability for upcoming events.
Acceptance is not guaranteed.
Considerations may include (but are not limited to):
-
Effort and clarity in the application
-
Communication style
-
Intentions and expectations
-
Overall fit with a particular group
We are not obliged to provide detailed feedback on unsuccessful applications.
7. Event Fees & Payment
Event fees must be paid in advance. A place is confirmed only once payment has been received.
Event fees are non-refundable, except where an Event is cancelled by us.
If we cancel an Event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future Event.
8. Cancellations & No-Shows
If you are unable to attend an Event, please notify us as soon as possible.
Because Events are small and carefully curated, repeated cancellations or no-shows may affect future invitations.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
-
The actions or behaviour of other attendees
-
The outcome of any interaction or connection
-
Emotional disappointment or unmet expectations
-
Loss of personal belongings
We provide a curated environment and reasonable screening but cannot guarantee romantic outcomes.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
10. Personal Safety
We take reasonable steps to create a safe and respectful environment. These include:
-
Reviewing applications before inviting attendance
-
Verifying identity through a short video call
-
Hosting events in public, well-chosen venues
-
Having a host present throughout each event
That said, we cannot guarantee individual behaviour or eliminate all risk.
Attendees are responsible for their own personal safety, boundaries, and decisions.
We encourage sensible precautions, including meeting in public spaces and sharing personal information gradually.
Any communication or interaction after an Event takes place independently and at your own discretion.
11. Use of the Site
You must not:
-
Use the Site for commercial purposes
